Be sure to pop in at Funky Hannah’s, 324 Main Street, check out the latest ready made jewelry or be inspired to take a workshop. Artists will be at the torch in the workshop space, demonstrating how fun it is to make glass beads, from 5-9pm.
All of the fun shops, galleries & museums are open late for the First Friday of every month.
While you are here, be sure to head around the corner so you don’t miss the hottest spot during First Fridays – Hot Shop Glass, 239 Wisconsin Avenue. Watch local artisans turn molten glass into something fabulous right before your eyes. April showers bring May flowers so the gallery is filled with lovely glass inspired by and useful for flowers. Paperweights, sculpted flowers, vases and wine tumblers will be made with floral themes during demonstrations from 4-8:30pm.
No charge. Really. Use our creative workshop space in the back of Funky’s and create with a bead shop at your fingertips. Wish you had that one bead in just the right color or size…not a problem. Need just one? We have tables full of single purchase beads! Mix it up. Try something new. Use our tools. Bring in a beverage. Or a snack. It’s all good at Funky Hannah’s!

This is an open studio, not a class with staff dedicated to instruction. But you know how helpful the Funky Gals are. Plus we like to create too and just might join you!
We are open 7 days a week, year round. Sundays! Yes…we are open every Sunday 12-4 (and have been for 21 years!). We join many of our favorite neighbors with Sunday hours including Sheepish next door and the Racine Art Museum on the next block.
Visit us Monday – Friday 10am-6pm (classes held 6-9pm). Saturday 10am-5pm & every Sunday 12-4pm.
